Our Bra Overflows with Gratitude

Thank you, holiday shoppers! With funds growing in the bank, the HackerMoms are on the way to a hackerspace of (y)our own. Our 1st annual “Leave It to Beaver!” Gallery Event was a smashing success in, like, 8 different ways. We dreamed it, we made it happen. We unblocked creatively. We found a voice, became a team. Our kids and partners made the leap with us. We made press and more press, made friends (http://naptimewriting.wordpress.com/2011/12/09/gasp/) and made bucks. Most of all, we had crazy fun. (Hey, when was the last time you personally had crazy fun?). We offered paintings, photography, prints, sculpture, fabric art,vintage finds, fantastic mid-century jewelry, paper arts, and more! It was a beautiful display of our talents and our potential, individually and as a group. We can’t wait to do it again.
